Assam NRC 2nd List : The first part draft NRC List of NRC Assam was released on 31 st December 2017, midnight. In NRC first draft list, the names of the citizens were published which had been verified by field officer or any legal documents, the application of the rest applicants is still to be verified. Hence the Honorable Chief Minister of Assam, “Sarbananda Sonowal” requested all the people of Assam to have patience while publishing the step by step draft list until the NRC complete result is out. How to Check your name in NRC Assam 2nd list / Complete Draft

The NRC Assam 2nd list is not publish yet. The date of publication of the NRC 2nd draft list is 30 June 2018. When the second draft is available you can use the following methods for checking your names in Draft Updated NRC which is same as the first part draft NRC. If you have forgotten the process to check your name in first part of draft NRC, here we have explained again.

1] Check at Official Website @www.nrcassam.nic.in

  • If you want to get your complete NRC draft result on online, you have to visit official website www.nrcassam.nic.in.
  • Under the NRC Highlights, check the link for complete draft.
  • It will refer to a new website for result only.
  • Put your Application receipt number and the image captcha right below the ARN field
  • Wait few seconds, and you will see the NRC 2nd list or complete result.

2] Get Result on Mobile / via SMS

  • An Alternative means to check NRC 2nd result is by SMS service.
  • Type in your mobile ARN 101856721980000087961 and send it to 09765556555
  • The result must appear if verified. Still not getting your result, here is the alternate way to check your complete draft NRC.

3] Call Toll-Free Helpline Number

  • You can know also NRC 2nd list result by dialling 15107 from Assam and 18003453762 from outside of Assam. But there may call conjunction, hence you may check second NRC part draft by offline.

4] Offline via Nearest NRC Seva Kendra:

  • Visit your Gaon Panchayat Samabay Samiti or any nearest NRC Kendra, Give your NRC acknowledgement slip or ARN number, they will find out your result.

What if your Name is not in the Complete Draft List or 2nd Result?

For any mistakes, your name may not be included in the complete NRC Draft. For that, you must have submitted your claims and objection application at your LRCR(Local Register of Citizenship Registrations). You can collect the claims and objection form in prescribed format in the Seva Kendras or at the LRCR offices. Here below we have explained in details how to submit your claims and objections for name correction, re-inclusion, etc.

NRC 3rd List, The Final NRC Draft:

After the Publishing of NRC Assam 2nd list , all applicants are allowed to submit their claims and objections in a prescribed format to your Local Registrar of Citizens Registration (LRCR) office. The claims and objections in NRC Assam include change names in NRC, name correction, re-inclusion or any others problem you face have to submit their claims and objection application.

Remember: Final Draft will come out after scrutinizing the NRC claims and objections. After NRC 2nd List you can submit your re-claim file, but after final result, no claims will be entertaine. For that, you can appeal at the Foreigners Tribunals (Read More.) After the approve or disapprove of your appeal/application a Final NRC will be publishe. Note that applicants whose name is not included in the Final NRC can also appeal to Foreign Tribunals.

Final NRC Result, release date: The final NRC result declaration date will take some time, but still the government of India and Assam aimed to complete the whole NRC updating process by 2018 December.
